About the position

As a support assistant at Kilagården, you will work to create good and equal living conditions for people with various disabilities. We want every individual to have the opportunity to live a life as similar to others as possible, based on their own conditions, resources, and abilities. We continuously strive to improve the operation with a salutogenic focus on the mission.

The work is characterized by a holistic perspective where we value the individual's self-determination and influence. We want to work actively based on our values and strive for everyone living with us to feel safe, seen, and satisfied with the support they receive. At Kilagården, there are nine positions. There is a strong commitment to improving the quality of the operation in various areas.

Job responsibilities

In the role of support assistant, you provide supportive, motivating, and activating interventions in the residents' daily lives. The tasks include, among other things:

· providing individually tailored support and guidance

· working based on implementation plans

· documenting according to current legislation

· collaborating closely with colleagues and other professional groups

· working independently with good judgment and responsibility

The work may involve practical tasks and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

· education from the health and care program or equivalent education

· experience of working within LSS or with the target group

· good ability to communicate and create safety

· a professional approach where the user is always in focus

Personal suitability is very important. You are responsible, structured, flexible, and have initiative. You have a calm and secure personality as well as high social competence.

Requirements:

· B driver's license (manual transmission)

· A criminal record extract is required upon employment

Employment conditions

· Scope: 80–100 %

· Employment form: Permanent

· Start date: By agreement

· Salary: Fixed monthly salary

· Selection will be ongoing.
