Särnmark is one of Sweden's oldest companies in personal assistance, founded by the current owner in the early 1990s. We work based on a clear and stated value foundation, and our main drive is to create the best conditions for individualized personal assistance based on each person's unique needs. Särnmark currently has over 3500 employees, and our customers and staff are located all over Sweden. Särnmark's head office is in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden. We are looking for someone who wants to work with our wonderful 12-year-old boy in Torslanda starting in January.

As an assistant to our client, you will be present throughout the day, including during school hours, and assist with all aspects of care, meal intake, support, and play. You will be a safe person by his side. Most importantly, you are a calm and attentive person, preferably with a playful and mischievous personality, retaining a childlike spirit. You enjoy coming up with activities, playing, and are quick to take your own initiatives.

No prior experience as an assistant is required, as we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability, but we consider it an advantage if you have experience working with children, mobility impairments, intellectual disabilities, or have experience with PEG or sign language support.

You will always work alongside a colleague in a double assistance format, and it is important that you are a team player who is listening and responsive.

We are looking for someone interested in a 65% position where you will work 6 weekdays + 2 weekend shifts per month.

Your working hours are usually 7 AM to 8 PM and vary between weekdays and weekends on a rolling schedule. In some cases, there may be shorter shifts.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and training will begin in December with the position starting in January.

In your application, you should indicate your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a permanent residence permit in Sweden to be employed by Särnmark.
