Your mission
The support educator/social educator is responsible for ensuring quality in the operations through the implementation of methods and in-depth knowledge of various disabilities. As a support educator/social educator, you will work in the daily operations within the unit combined with tasks that may include care, activities, collaboration, and administrative tasks. In your work, you are a pedagogical role model and a source of pedagogical knowledge for the employees in the workgroup. You will guide and mentor employees in their daily work and contribute with a holistic view of both the individual’s and the organization’s needs. You will monitor the environment, identify, and drive pedagogical development work based on the individual implementation plans and work on planning the unit's efforts and hold follow-ups with others in the team.

Formal qualifications
- Education preferably as a support educator or social educator yh200p/60hp. Alternatively, other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- A few years of practical experience working with target groups within LSS and/or social psychiatry.
- Experience in goal-oriented work with different working methods, approaches, and methods, as well as social documentation.
- Since a large part of your work involves communication and reaching out to residents and employees, we see that you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- The employment requires that you have a B driver's license for manual transmission.
- Digital identification with Bank ID.

Meritorious
- Experience of working in similar operations as a support educator and/or social educator.
- Experience in development and change work within social work.
- Education and experience in motivational interviewing (MI), AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), and clarifying pedagogy.

The employment
Permanent employment at 100% with immediate start or by agreement. Employment may begin with a probationary period. The position is filled on the condition that the necessary decisions are made. Work will be carried out according to a rolling schedule day, evening, weekend.
The support educator/social educator is currently placed at Support and Function within the Welfare and Labor Market Administration. The immediate supervisor is the unit manager.
