We at Finngösa/Galaxen service housing and support are looking for a new colleague!
As a support assistant with us, you will provide our residents with individually tailored support in their daily lives and encourage and assist in leisure activities.
The work involves working based on the residents' needs and wishes, which lays the foundation for the individually tailored support in the user's everyday life. Your work contributes to our users achieving as independent a life as possible.
Caring work is included in the tasks as well as quality assurance in the form of social documentation, implementation plans, and routines. You will collaborate with users, their relatives, guardians, and staff in other operations. In the work, motivation, structure, network building, documentation, meaningful everyday life, and collaboration are key words.
The job suits you if you can work days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a support assistant education, vocational qualification from the care and nursing program or the child and leisure program, education in social/pedagogical work, or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have at least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities, preferably as a support assistant within LSS operations.
As a person, you are responsible and have a respectful approach with the user's best interests in focus. You are adaptable based on the individual and the situation and have good collaboration skills and a pedagogical approach. You are flexible and attentive in your work style and can contribute to a positive work environment. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your New Workplace
The care and nursing administration consists of four departments: Assistance and Health, Functional Support, Elderly Care, and Support and Development. The care and nursing committee is politically responsible for the administration's work. Our operations involve providing care, support, and service to elderly individuals and those in need of functional support. We also provide some health and medical care. The vision includes that our interventions should be carried out safely, securely, with dignity, and with influence.
We are about 850 employees who have our workplaces throughout the municipality, and we are a mix of support assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, support educators, assistance assessors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
Finngösa/Galaxen service housing and support is one of Partille municipality's LSS housing. The residences are adapted for individuals covered by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. Here, 19 individuals live in their own apartments. At Finngösa/Galaxen service housing and support, we work with situation- and activity-adapted working methods. With ongoing reviews of staffing, space is created for both spontaneity and a touch of luxury in everyday life. A working method that both staff and users enjoy. Finngösa/Galaxen also provides support for 40 users throughout the municipality according to the Social Services Act.

It is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at level B1 according to the Council of Europe's standard before the interview.
