Job Responsibilities

In personal assistance, your workplace is based in the individuals' own homes. The tasks are determined by the needs of the individuals we support. This may involve everyday needs such as hygiene, cleaning, and cooking, as well as helping the person to have an active leisure time and meaningful daytime activities. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

The support in personal assistance is provided to individuals who have been granted services under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. In personal assistance, we have regular professional development and there is an opportunity for supervision if needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a personal assistant, have equivalent education and/or experience working with the target group. You have a positive view of people, a good value base, and a strong commitment to the individual, focusing on creating a safe and meaningful everyday life. The job requires you to be flexible and have a good ability to adapt to different people and situations, as well as to prioritize the individual's needs. You are secure and stable in your professional role, attentive, reliable, solution-focused, and have an unpretentious approach in collaboration with others.

Furthermore, you must be responsible and able to independently maintain agreed structure and working methods. It is an advantage if you have experience working with individuals who have extensive somatic needs.

The work also includes tasks such as documentation, establishing, following up, and evaluating implementation plans, as well as being involved in developing work methods and routines. In our operations, we document in Life Care. You must have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as documentation is part of the job. You actively participate in meetings and are an engaged employee and colleague.
