Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has been providing support, round-the-clock care, and housing for adults with mental health variations and comorbidity since 1942.

We offer a wide range of care with personal support, social and physical training, as well as assistance in individual development. We have several well-established operations and are currently located in Östergötland, Västergötland, and Småland.

About Us

Our operation in Essunga is divided into three units: Short-term operations, Psychiatric care, and Housing with special support for individuals aged 20 and older. We also have two LSS units in Nossebro for individuals aged 18 and older. In each unit, we work in a team with some rotation across the different units. The team consists of various professionals such as nursing assistants, housing support workers, behavioral scientists, therapists, educators, nurses, and doctors. We are a wonderful team that works together and purposefully for sustainable development for both our clients and our work environment. Our operation in Västergötland offers its new employees internal training with a mentor in the “Schedevi Academy.” Competence development at Schedevi is about the opportunity for all staff, groups, and as an organization to develop in their work through education, supervision, and collegial learning. The goal of the Schedevi Academy is to “Ensure well-educated and competent staff who thrive, are involved, and motivated.”

Employment Type

Day, evening, and weekend work. The operation targets individuals with complex support needs, where structure, clarity, and a low-arousal approach are central parts of the work.

Job Description

We are looking for an engaged and competent support assistant who wants to make a difference in our clients' lives. As a support assistant with us, you will work with the individual in focus and contribute to a sustainable and environmentally friendly workplace. Your tasks will include supporting and guiding individuals with complex support needs, planning and implementing activities, and collaborating with colleagues and other professionals. Since we work with the individual in focus, our employees need to be flexible and responsive to the clients' needs. Meet and handle challenging situations in a low-arousal and professional manner. The work is varied and runs over all hours of the day.

We currently have 3 temporary positions available at 50%, 75%, and 80%.

Qualifications

• Education as a nursing assistant, leisure leader, support educator, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience working with LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of neuropsychiatric diagnoses, comorbidity, and clarifying pedagogy.
• You are comfortable working in a structured manner and consistently follow routines and working methods, as predictability and clarity are crucial for our clients.
• You can work calmly and methodically with clear structure and fixed routines as a foundation for a low-arousal approach.
• Good Swedish in speech and writing, and good computer skills as documentation according to IBIC is included.
