About the Job

Do you want to develop and work with investigations within child and family services? We are looking for someone who wants to work as an investigative social worker in the Child and Family unit.

As a social worker with us, you will handle preliminary assessments, investigations, and follow-ups of various interventions, such as open care, contact persons, foster families, as well as placements under SoL and LVU in homes and foster care. Our primary focus is to put the child's best interests and the client's needs at the center. We have a well-developed own open care service that we collaborate well with, and we actively work with the child's own network and the available resources within it.

The Child and Family unit in Sydväst consists of three investigative units, with three teams in each unit and six social workers in the team. Each team has its own lead social worker, and the unit is led by a unit manager. In each investigative unit, there is a social worker with a special assignment who is partly responsible for the introduction of new employees in addition to your lead social worker. You will receive methodological support both individually and in groups, as well as external supervision to facilitate your daily work. We offer internal training in case management and documentation, which will strengthen your skills and provide you with the tools you need to succeed in your work, and we also offer external training, including the form of the Professional Journey.

With us, you will have a flexible workplace that allows for a balance between work and private life. We work according to a distribution model based on experience and capacity. We are an investigative unit with a lot of experience that strives to develop and have groups where one can deepen their knowledge in special areas.

We are located near Frölunda Torg and are a child and youth house where reception, authority units, foster care, and child social workers have their offices. The workplace has office rooms shared with a colleague and a few private rooms. We have a close and good collaboration with our large resource unit that is located nearby.

It is a challenging job, but fun and stimulating. It is not all serious with us, and we make sure that it is enjoyable at work! We value a positive work environment where you can thrive and have fun in your job.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and a B driver's license. We would like you to have previous experience working with authority exercises.
