We are now looking for on-call leaders for summer temporary positions! The Trygghetsjouren is an alarm center that receives calls from security phones in homes, with approximately 11,000 security phones connected.

Supervision is also carried out via security cameras. The mission of Trygghetsjouren includes leading and providing advice and support to employees in the City of Gothenburg during on-call hours, as well as providing emergency assistance according to the Social Services Act.

Trygghetsjouren belongs to the Elderly and Care Administration but has agreements with the Administration for Support for Persons with Disabilities and several surrounding municipalities to provide the services mentioned above. The target group for our operations is elderly individuals and people with mental and/or physical disabilities. The goal of Trygghetsjouren is to provide security in the home based on individual needs and wishes, and we have high standards for the quality of our work.

We are about 50 employees working as welfare technicians, business developers, system administrators, alarm operators, on-call leaders, first on-call leaders, close support, and unit managers. As an on-call leader, you will have varied tasks. You will receive alarms, conduct supervision via camera, perform emergency assessments, and lead work. Your tasks will include documentation and administrative duties. You will work on a schedule and every other weekend.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has equivalent education. We also welcome students from the social work program with experience in care and support. Experience in public authority functions and leadership is advantageous. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation (SoL, LSS, HSL, labor law), computer skills, and a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing.

We seek someone who is good at structure and planning. You can handle demands from the environment without losing focus on the task. You are willing to make decisions but humble enough to consult with a colleague. You should enjoy facing new situations where your problem-solving skills are put to the test. In the alarm reception, it is required that you thrive in and are skilled at working at a fast pace. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. You adapt your communication based on the recipient, target group, and situation.

In the selection for interviews, we will prioritize those who can work the entire summer period. Positions will be filled continuously.
