Who are we?

Lekstugan is a parent cooperative that has been in the same location for 35 years, in the lovely Lunden area of Gothenburg. Our preschool is located in a charming old cinema building with its own courtyard and close proximity to both cultural and natural areas.

Here, the guardians handle the practical and administrative work related to the operation with unique insight into the children's daily lives, while the educational work is planned by staff and led by the principal and school manager.

We have space for 24 children in a mixed age group from 1 to 6 years old. The children spend their days in shared spaces, where they are divided into age groups during parts of the day while other parts are spent together.

Our staff currently consists of a principal/preschool teacher, a preschool teacher, two childcare workers, and a kitchen manager.

Job Responsibilities

It is advantageous if you have experience working with children, childcare education, or equivalent. You naturally have a clear focus on children and listen to the needs of the child group as well as the coaching approach of the staff.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

The Position

The preschool has a collective agreement and is a member of Fremia.

The position is a part-time employment in our own substitute pool with salary according to the collective agreement.

The position includes free pedagogical meals, coffee, and tea.

According to the Education Act, a police record extract must be presented before employment in childcare begins. You can order this on the police website and bring it with you to any interview.
