Welcome to Us

Preschool Area 2 in Hässelby-Vällingby district administration consists of 8 preschools and two open preschools, distributed across 3 units.

The unit is led by a head of area and three deputy heads. The preschools in the area also include two special educators and an administrator.

We now need substitute teachers for the area! We are looking for you who are positive and engaged, who want to learn and share your experiences and knowledge with others.

In our preschools, children have access to a stimulating learning environment with opportunities for play, creative creation, and exploration that stimulates learning. The Swedish language is central to all our work, and we work with language-developing methods throughout the day.

We place great emphasis on a positive approach, where relationship-building and close interaction with the children are of great importance. The tasks include creating good and sustainable relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. It is also important to be open to different perspectives and ways of solving problems.

Your Role

As a substitute childcare worker with us, you contribute together with other educators to ensure that the daily life in the preschool runs smoothly, that children and guardians feel safe, and that the daily pedagogical work is based on children's curiosity, participation, and influence. You contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developing environment for each child and for the entire group of children. You are engaged and actively participate in the preschool's work to make every day enjoyable and educational for our children. As a substitute in our units, you are prepared to work in all preschools in the area and have the opportunity to come to work at short notice. You will receive work shifts continuously. Working hours vary between 06:30-18:30.

To succeed in the job, it is essential to be able to speak, read, and write Swedish at a good level.

Your Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:
• Educated childcare worker
• Good knowledge of Swedish in writing and speaking

Merits:
• Experience in the profession
• Experience working with children with disabilities

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. A background check from the Police's criminal record for schools and preschools is required in connection with employment.
