Rännilsvägen's daily operations target adults with varying disabilities under LSS. We have 20 spots and serve the entire country of Sweden. The facilities are located on the ground floor of a residential association in Östertälje. We offer our participants individualized work. Currently, we work with recycling, crafts, handicrafts, painting, and baking.
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will assist users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with a high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the operation.
QualificationsVery good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience in healthcare and social services.
High school education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and social services program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.
Driver's license B.
Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Type: Special fixed-term employment Working Hours: Part-time/Full-time Working Time: Daytime Monday-Friday Start Date: By agreement, we look favorably on if you can start shortly. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
