About Us
Misa's vision and belief is that everyone can participate in working life with the right support.
We provide individuals with tailored support for work and aim to make a difference for both individuals and society through our operations. We strive to be a knowledge leader in work-oriented support through investments in research, knowledge dissemination, and competence development for employees. We believe that diversity enriches our operations and particularly welcome applicants with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Misa is a non-profit organization owned by the public foundation Includia. This means that the company's surplus is used for research and reinvested in the operations.
Misa Kista is growing, and we need to expand our wonderful team with one more colleague. We offer work-oriented daily activities according to LSS. We primarily target individuals with intellectual disabilities but also those with autism.
Your New Job
As a job consultant, you will help individuals with disabilities find internships and jobs in the open labor market and provide the necessary support for them to succeed. Together with the individual, you will identify their resources, support needs, and workplace preferences. You will then search for suitable workplaces and visit them with the individual to see if the tasks and environment are a good fit. Once a suitable workplace is found, the internship begins, and you will provide both the individual and the workplace with the support needed for it to work well. To succeed in this role, it is important that you enjoy creating and maintaining good relationships with participants, partners, and workplaces.
In addition to individually matched internships, we also offer our participants group activities of both social and work-oriented nature. As a job consultant, you will be responsible for leading one or more of these each week.
About You
We are looking for someone who believes in every person's ability to contribute to the labor market with the right support. In your interactions with participants, you have patience and are curious about finding pedagogical keys that help each person based on their situation. You possess personal maturity and listen to each person's needs to find paths that assist them in their development. To succeed in the search for suitable internships, you need to be creative and willing to build mutual relationships. You are persistent and creative when things do not go as planned. As a job consultant, you work independently but have strong support from unpretentious colleagues with extensive experience and knowledge. You will be an important addition to our team, and we hope you will contribute to the social fabric of the workgroup.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with further education as a social pedagogue or an academic degree as a social worker, occupational therapist, career counselor, behavioral scientist, educator, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
Meritorious
- Knowledge of intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
- Experience with the Supported Employment or Individual Placement and Support methods.
- Experience working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health issues and creating structure, presence, and stability in the daily lives of participants.
- Good communication skills and experience building and maintaining relationships with employers.
- Language skills in Arabic, Somali, Kurdish, or Persian.
We Offer You
My name is Amir, and I am the unit manager. It is important to me that you feel engaged, have great trust in your work, and feel a sense of belonging with your colleagues. In my role as a manager, I strive to provide direction and support so that you have the conditions to take significant responsibility and achieve good results. With us, you will be part of a wonderful team with extensive experience and knowledge. We value open dialogue and a spirit of creating operational development together every day through reflective conversations and shared creativity. We offer a generous wellness allowance, comprehensive introductory training, and professional development, external/internal supervision, and occupational pension.
This is a permanent position, 100%, starting with a six-month probationary period. Planned start date is March 16 or by agreement. A criminal record check from the police (Law 1998:620) must be presented before you are offered employment.
Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the last application date is February 10, 2026. The position may be filled before the last application date, as we handle applications on an ongoing basis.
