About the client:

A cheerful and playful 10-year-old boy is looking for an engaged and warm respite worker; he is very active. He requires constant supervision and quickly notices if you are not attentive, as he tends to get into mischief. He lacks verbal speech and needs someone skilled in alternative communication; he communicates through various sounds and body language.

He loves being outdoors! He enjoys hanging out at the playground and wants you to engage in play with him.

Qualifications/requirements for the respite worker:

• Experience with NPF diagnoses
• Female
• Active
• Comfortable assisting with toilet visits

About the position:

26 hours/month, to be performed on Saturdays and Sundays (3 hours per occasion). Start date as soon as possible.

As a respite worker, you will relieve family members, for example, a child with a disability in the home or local area. This can be to allow parents some personal time with other siblings.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
