Dedicated Personal Assistant Needed for 8-Year-Old Girl in Danderyd

We are looking for a personal assistant for a lovely 8-year-old girl who lives centrally in Danderyd with her family. Within walking distance from Danderyd Hospital and the bus terminal. The girl needs help with most aspects of her daily life and health, so we are now looking for someone who can provide her with the care and security she needs.

About the Role:

You will work in a double assistance role, where collaboration with other assistants is crucial. When the girl is in school, she is there with an assistant and a resource from the school. Otherwise, she has double assistance at all other times of the day. We are looking for someone with experience in medical care, particularly in areas such as epilepsy, emergency medicine, oxygen, PEG, PEP mask, and other aids. We also seek someone who is very fond of children and relationship-building.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience working with children is an advantage.
• You must be meticulous and reliable, especially considering the girl's infection sensitivity and care needs.
• When working with us, it is important that you change clothes and wash yourself thoroughly if you have traveled by public transport.
• A face mask is always required during close contact work.

You describe yourself as:

• Thoughtful, kind, and cheerful.
• Active, focused, and alert.
• Able to build a relationship with the girl despite her non-verbal communication.
• Willing to see and encourage her abilities instead of focusing on limitations.

We offer varying working hours, but the majority are day and evening shifts, scheduled as follows:

• Day shifts 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM/5 PM
• Evening shifts 2:30 PM - 10 PM
• Night shifts 10 PM - 8:30 AM

About the Girl:

She is an 8-year-old girl who loves having someone read books to her and enjoys having her hands and feet massaged. She thrives on closeness and appreciates being outdoors when the weather permits; car rides are also a big hit!
