About the Position

Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). The work includes tasks as a personal assistant, where you provide individual support and care to the individual and contribute to a meaningful everyday life.

Work shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends during the day, evening, and night. Possible placements are throughout Norrtälje Municipality, including Hallstavik, Rimbo, Norrtälje, and Väddö. We are looking for summer workers from June to August. We offer an introductory training.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Assistance with personal hygiene
• Assistance with dressing/undressing
• Assistance with leisure activities
• Health and medical tasks
• Social documentation
• Collaboration with other professions

About You

For this position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Good computer skills

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in the profession
• Knowledge of NPF or other functional variations

As you will be replacing regular staff, we expect you to be self-sufficient and able to ask for help when needed. We see that you have good teamwork skills as the team consists of various professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled while focusing on the right things.
