About the position

We are looking for you who want to work as a support assistant or nursing assistant within one of our LSS operations in Rimbo, either in daily activities or in LSS housing. Your focus will be to guide and strengthen each individual's ability to live as independently as possible through a pedagogical and individualized approach. In the unit, you will work with users who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Working hours vary between day, morning, evening, weekend, and night, depending on whether the position is placed within daily activities or housing. We are looking for summer workers for the period of June to August and hourly substitutes both before and after the summer period. The employment rate is full-time or part-time as agreed.

We conduct interviews and recruit continuously during the advertising period. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• In your role, you will support the user based on their implementation plan, individual needs, and wishes. Furthermore, it may include care work and supporting the individual in social contexts, providing pedagogical guidance, performing documentation, and delegated care interventions. The role also includes contact with the user's network and specific tasks related to the operation you end up in.

For this position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• A criminal record extract.
• Good digital competence, i.e., technical knowledge and skills required to handle various software programs such as journal systems, communication systems, and the Office package.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• High school education from the health and care program, child and leisure program, or other equivalent education that the employer considers relevant.
• Experience working within LSS.
• Driver's license for manual transmission and driving experience.
• Specialized skills for the specific operation.
• Knowledge of various functional variations such as autism/NPF/IF.
• Good knowledge of low-arousal approaches.
• Knowledge of AAC (alternative augmentative communication).
• Experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors.

As you will be replacing regular staff, we see that you who apply are self-sufficient and can ask for help when you need it. You have good collaboration skills as the team consists of several different professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled while focusing on the right things.
