Ösbyskolan is looking for a middle school teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in math/science and Swedish.

We are looking for a temporary replacement for a teacher who will be on parental leave and therefore need to recruit an engaged teacher with a positive view of students.

Ösbyskolan has been operating since 1996 and currently has about 670 students from preschool to grade 9. Together with the students, our wonderful staff of about 90 dedicated employees works. Our school is characterized by both traditions as well as innovative thinking and development. We offer you a good working environment in modern premises. Ösbyskolan is located in Gustavsberg, Värmdö municipality with very good and frequent connections, about 25 minutes travel time from Slussen.

In the role of a teacher at Ösbyskolan, you will be a mentor and be part of a well-functioning team. The working teams at the school have great freedom to shape the work together with the students based on the school's common goals within clear frameworks. As an educator, you stimulate, vary, and respond to the student based on the student's own conditions and needs. As a mentor, you are an important person with a good ability to create secure relationships. It is of utmost importance to inspire the student with joy and meaning in their schooling.

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed teacher for grades 4-6 in math, science/technology, and Swedish
• are clear in your leadership role and adapt teaching to the needs of the student group
• have a positive view of students and assume that students can and want to learn
• have a good ability to build groups
• have good collaboration skills
• share your experiences and competencies
• have a broad view of knowledge with a focus on the future.

We place great emphasis on social competencies and personal suitability.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
