Are you passionate about working with children and young people and want to help develop their various abilities? We at BILDA have an ongoing need to hire more qualified and unqualified substitutes. We are now looking for you who want to substitute in practical subjects such as sports, woodworking, textile crafts, and music.

You will work in various schools throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The length of assignments varies from one to several days.

BILDA has a collective agreement, offers an introductory training, and provides ongoing support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

As a substitute teacher in practical subjects, you are responsible for a whole or part of a class. Usually, there is lesson planning, but in cases where lesson planning is missing, it is important to be solution-oriented to quickly create a rich lesson for the students.

To work as a substitute, you need:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous work experience in schools

- Good spoken and written Swedish

- Experience leading/speaking in front of a group

It is an advantage if you:

- Have relevant education and/or knowledge to teach languages

- Have experience in educational work

You should also thrive in an energetic environment and be engaged and responsible in your work. A central aspect of the substitute role is also your strong interest in working with children and young people.
