What We Do and Want

Tyresö School is an F-9 school located in eastern Tyresö, with the forest at our doorstep and within walking distance to beautiful castle surroundings and a bay.

The schoolyard is large and invites varied play and activities. The school is characterized by good academic results, high satisfaction, and a conducive study environment. We know that there is nothing more inclusive than good teaching, and our common goal, where we all contribute in our different roles, is to create the best school for each individual student. We work together in grade teams with a strong EHT supporting teachers and students.

About the Position

We are now looking for a teacher in German for Tyresö School. This is a permanent position at 50%. You will be part of a team in the upper secondary school, taking care of the four classes in the grade together. The position includes mentorship for a group of students.

The position is a permanent employment at 50% with a vacation service.

Who Are You?

You are a certified teacher with adequate subject competence for the subject you will be teaching. You have several years of experience teaching in upper secondary school as well as in assessment and grading.

You are a clear leader in the classroom and very skilled at building relationships. You understand the importance of adapting teaching to the students in front of you in the classroom, and it is important to you that your students succeed and grow. You believe in the fundamental idea that all children do right if they can. Furthermore, you are structured with a high degree of independence, but you are also a natural team player with your colleagues.

It is a given for you to constantly evaluate your teaching as you want to develop in your profession, and you find it enjoyable to refine the pedagogical craft and develop your classroom practice.

If you are offered a position with us, you are expected to provide a criminal record extract for preschool and school. Therefore, it is advisable to order such a certificate on the police website as soon as possible.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
