Berga Agricultural High School is looking for a riding instructor 80-100% starting immediately – 15/6 2026 with good prospects for continuation

We are looking for you who are a riding instructor at least level 1. You will teach lessons in jumping, dressage, and also practical exercises, as well as take care of Berga's horses and facilities. Theoretical lessons in equestrian subjects may also occur depending on your competence.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with young people
• Is engaged, positive, and pedagogical
• Has good horse and riding knowledge
• Has experience in teaching riding lessons

Job responsibilities:

• Lead riding lessons at various levels
• Create a safe and educational environment for our students
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere in the stable and on the riding arena

The position entails:

• Fixed-term, limited until June 15, 2026, with good prospects for continuation

About the School

Berga Agricultural High School is located in Västerhaninge outside Stockholm and is owned by Dille Bolagen AB. It is a high school situated on a large farm. We run an agricultural operation and have horse stables, riding halls, riding arenas, driving tracks, and boarding facilities. Since 1921, young people have been educated in agriculture at Berga, although the farm's history goes back much further in time.

The school has a unique location for Stockholm County, just thirty minutes by commuter train from Stockholm Central Station. At Berga, it is close to both the city, the sea, and the forest.

Berga is a large school in terms of area but a relatively small school in terms of student numbers. Today, about 240 students attend here. The number of staff is approximately 55 people, meaning there are not many students per adult at the school. Almost all teachers are qualified and have teaching credentials.
