Kämpetorpsskolan is located in the heart of Älvsjö and has approximately 950 students in grades F-9.

The upper secondary school is situated in relatively newly built facilities since the school has been renovated and expanded. We also have a great schoolyard and access to the newly built Kämpetorpshallarna with an adjacent artificial grass field for our break activities as well as teaching in sports and health.

We currently have a faculty of about 130 people with a common goal of being the best school for our students. The school management consists of a principal, three vice principals, and an administrative manager. The student health team consists of school leaders, special educators, counselors, school nurses, social educators, and school psychologists. The upper secondary school is organized into four parallel classes and subject teams. In scheduling, we strive to work for subject classrooms. We have a cheerful faculty that enjoys working together. Job Description

We are looking for an experienced upper secondary teacher in mathematics, all natural science subjects, and technology with the best interests of the students in mind. You will be responsible for the implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the groups you teach, and you will collaborate and co-assess with colleagues in subject teams.

We hope you have good collaboration skills and are willing to develop your work and thus the school's activities in cooperation with colleagues. You can capture and deepen students' interest in your subjects, have a strong commitment to students' knowledge development, and see opportunities for progression. A friendly and professional approach to students, staff, and parents is of utmost importance. An inclusive perspective and relationship-building are seen as important factors in your teaching. You have experience teaching in upper secondary school.

The position is a temporary contract during VT26.

Schools in Stockholm City work with digital platforms for publishing subject plans and assignments as well as in communication with guardians and classes. All students and staff have laptops, and classrooms are equipped with projectors. We have also updated our set of textbooks.

Qualifications

• Good subject knowledge
• Experience teaching mathematics, natural sciences, and technology.
• Experience leading student groups and creating good relationships with students.
