Workplace Description
On January 10, 2023, we finally opened our doors for our students at the newly built Midsommarkransen school at Bäckvägen 1 in the heart of Midsommarkransen.
We are a K-9 school with about 950 students, but in our fantastic and unique facilities, we can accommodate a total of 1000 students. The school is 3-parallel up to grade 9 in primary school and hosts four classes within our adapted primary school. As the school grows, we need to recruit even more competent and dedicated staff.

The school already has a fantastic staff with many competent, experienced, and dedicated educators in various roles, including our own school librarian. Our student health team consists of special educators, school psychologists, counselors, school nurses, school doctors, and career counselors. In our administrative team, we have school secretaries, IT managers, janitors, and in our school restaurant, meals are prepared from scratch by our kitchen team. The school management consists of a principal, four assistant principals, and an administrative manager.
Job Description
The current teacher will be on parental leave from January 29 to April 14, and therefore we are looking for you, an engaged, collaborative, and goal-oriented teacher who is qualified/has experience teaching English and language choice Swedish/English.
Being a clear and secure leader in the classroom who understands the importance of building relationships with your students is central to this position. You have high expectations for the students and involve them in planning while developing their ability to learn, both independently and together with others. You take responsibility for, and have insight into, the students' results so that an accessible and stimulating learning environment is created. This means capturing students with difficulties, as well as students who need challenges. You enjoy working systematically with your colleagues for increased goal achievement.
To thrive in your role, you need to be able to work in a changing environment where you contribute to the development and well-being of our school. You will teach English in grades 7-8 and language choice English/Swedish in grades 7-9. Mentorship is included in the position.
Qualifications
You are qualified in English.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Interviews are ongoing. The position may be filled by a surplus teacher.
