Södra Latin is a high school characterized by a cultural profile and a scientific approach in a safe and pleasant environment in the heart of Södermalm.

The school offers high-level education in music, dance, theater, visual arts, and design, as well as natural sciences, social sciences, and languages. We highly value respect for one another and the right to be oneself at our school. We have approximately 1100 students, and the school is led by a principal and three assistant principals.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, committed, and experienced licensed teacher for teaching Swedish as a second language (SVA) for a temporary position during the spring term from March 2 to June 17. You will be part of a program team and a subject team. The teaching will be in Language Introduction and SVA in national programs. The position is 80%.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license in SVA for high school education.

We prefer that you have several years of experience in high school teaching and good subject knowledge in your field. Your leadership is clear and secure, which creates a conducive working environment and an accessible learning atmosphere. Having a good dialogue with students is a given for you.

As a teacher at Södra Latin high school, you have a clear and secure leadership with high trust in the students' ability to learn, and you plan varied teaching, differentiated according to the student group. You actively work with forward-looking feedback to students to help them reach their full potential. You are an engaged teacher with good subject knowledge who can inspire your students.
