Igelsta School is characterized by a pleasant and welcoming work environment. Today, we have about 500 students from preschool to grade 9, and around 60 staff members, as the school grows in line with the expansion of the surrounding area. We have nice facilities and a lovely outdoor environment, and we are close to nature. We are building our operations, and you will have the opportunity to influence how teaching is conducted at the school.
In the role of a teacher, you will plan, evaluate, and develop your teaching with the support of your colleagues in the work team. The school has clear leadership and engaged teachers, where knowledge and the desire to learn are always at the center. We have well-functioning work teams, and we work to ensure that all teachers experience job satisfaction. An active student health team is present at the school, which includes EHT coordinators, counselors, school nurses, career counselors, special education teachers, assistant principals, and the principal.
Our classrooms are inviting and creative learning environments. Craft, art, and music rooms, along with a fantastic library, stimulate curiosity, reading enthusiasm, and creativity.

Your responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher for after-school care. You will belong to our After-School team, where you will meet your colleagues daily and have joint meetings every week. During the school day, you will collaborate with classroom teachers and be responsible for recess activities. After the school day ends, you will hold an after-school gathering before activities begin.
The work team operates in a structured and systematic manner based on different themes throughout the school year. Our after-school program opens at 6 AM and closes at 5:45 PM. You will become a key person for our happy and curious students in the lower grades who want, can, and should succeed.

Who are you?

You are a clear leader who has the ability to create a study and play environment and an adapted learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, for everyone. You are a team player who is good at collaborating and communicating with colleagues. You are a qualified teacher in after-school care and preferably have a focus on sports or music.

Personal qualities:
- You should be skilled in teaching and have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
