We are looking for a licensed math teacher for grades 6–9, with a planned start in August 2026.

Internationella Engelska Skolan in Norrtälje opened in 2024 and currently has around 400 students in grades F–9.

Your role with us

As a math teacher, you will play an important role in supporting students' learning. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will also serve as a mentor and help students in their personal and social development. You will work closely with guardians, colleagues, and the student health team to provide each student with the best possible conditions to achieve their goals.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed teacher with qualifications in mathematics for grades 6-9.
• Is confident in your professional leadership and creates a safe and stable environment both in and out of the classroom.
• Values and delivers a personal, clear, and balanced leadership with both control and student engagement in focus.
• Is an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a strong desire to contribute to the success of both students and colleagues.
• Has experience working in schools and adapting instruction and collaborating with student health and special educators.
• Feels comfortable teaching and communicating in both Swedish and English.
