Mathematics Teacher (Years 4–6)

Internationella Engelska Skolan Sigtuna is seeking a qualified and committed Mathematics Teacher for Years 4–6. Our school educates students in Years 4–9 and is part of the well-established Internationella Engelska Skolan organisation.

As a Mathematics Teacher at IES Sigtuna, you will plan, teach, assess, and follow up mathematics instruction. You differentiate your teaching to meet the needs of all students and use continuous formative assessment and feedback to support student progress. The role also includes mentorship for approximately 16 students, supporting both their academic and personal development, as well as participation in meetings with guardians and colleagues. You actively support and promote IES values and vision.

We are looking for a teacher who holds a recognised teaching qualification in mathematics, demonstrates strong classroom leadership, and creates a calm and structured learning environment. You are flexible, collaborative, and passionate about teaching, mentoring, and building positive relationships with students and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and professional values.

Terms of employment: Temporary position with a strong possibility of extension. A valid police background check is required.
