Here we work to provide our 155,000 residents with the best services in preschool, social services, elderly care, and urban development. Our eight preschools in the unit are close to each other and nature is just around the corner.

We have parks, playgrounds, forests, and the city within walking distance. Because the distances are short, collaboration between the preschools is easy. At our preschools, preschool teachers and childcare workers work together in teams, and we are currently looking for you as a preschool teacher who wants to become one of us at Artemis Preschools. We have chefs at our preschools who prepare meals, and educational lunches are included. At all Artemis Preschools, we work with our joint project "Planet Caretakers." This project has a sustainability perspective with ecological integrity and biodiversity in focus.

Your role

As a preschool teacher, you lead the educational development and are responsible for ensuring that all children receive meaningful, fun, and developing education. You work to create learning environments that are accessible, creative, and challenging where children are involved and have influence in their education. You will be responsible for the work with educational documentation, follow-up, and analysis of each child's development and learning. It is also part of your duties to collaborate with colleagues to be responsible for development conversations and written information to guardians. The team works together on planning, implementation, and evaluation, but you have the responsibility.

We believe in collective reflection and collegial learning and therefore work with networks for both preschool teachers and childcare workers. You are open to different perspectives, want to learn from others, and share your knowledge and pedagogical competence with your colleagues.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who have:

• preschool teacher certification or are awaiting certification
• at least 1-3 years of experience working in preschool
• experience working with educational documentation
• very good knowledge of the preschool curriculum
• good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with children with disabilities

We are looking for someone who is engaged and has an interest in contributing to children's development and learning with pedagogical insight. You will work closely with your colleagues and therefore need to have good collaboration skills and contribute by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. In your professional role, you are development-oriented by being proactive in development work as well as innovative and open to different perspectives, easily grasping a holistic view. You will have a leading role in the preschool, and it is required that you act professionally based on your profession and can distinguish between the personal and the professional. You are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, engagement, and motivation for the position.

To work in our preschools, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record for work with children.
