Tallkronanskolan is located in the Kronan area. Kronan is a new district in Luleå Municipality with apartments, townhouses, villas, a school, a preschool, a sports hall, and a nursing home. When the district is fully completed, about 7000 residents will live here, and there will be its own center with shops and restaurants. Tallkronanskolan has students from preschool to grade 6.

Tallkronanskolan has different rooms for learning, which allows for varied working methods and teaching with smaller student groups. Students are grouped by age in their respective home areas, where they mainly receive their education. There is a clear operational idea and clear guiding principles for the school. The guiding principles serve as a compass for the school's operations and organization.

The collegial learning among the educators is significant, and together we drive school development. The school's prioritized area focuses on the quality of teaching, where collegial learning is a key factor. The active work contributes to higher goal fulfillment and secure, independent students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a teacher for students in grade 1 and be part of a team where collegial collaboration is strong. Together, you will plan and follow up on the activities both at the group and individual levels and have mentoring responsibilities with development talks and contact with guardians.

The position is a full-time temporary position for almost a year, from March 10, 2025, to March 2, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you need to have a great ability to see all students and consider each student's individual circumstances. You are a person who brings energy and enthusiasm to the work and has a desire to see opportunities.

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with broad qualifications to teach students in grade 1. If you have the above qualifications but lack a teaching license, you are still welcome to apply, as there may be opportunities for temporary employment according to the Education Act in certain cases. No experience is required.
