Kiruna municipality has a total of 12 primary schools, geographically spread across the municipality. The primary school is tasked with providing students with knowledge and values and developing their ability to acquire these. We prepare our students for active life choices in the future.

Kiruna municipality has a total of 21 preschools geographically spread across the municipality. Usually, the preschools have two to three departments, but there are also smaller preschools. The largest operation has five departments. The preschool's task is to stimulate children's development and learning and to offer children safe care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of childcare worker at Lilla Björn, you will be part of a team that works together based on applicable governing documents and guidelines for preschools. Together in the team, you will work for the children's development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a childcare education/degree from the child and leisure program. To obtain a permanent position in the Nalle Maja department, you must have competence in meänkieli and/or Finnish. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and share the preschool's focus. You have good collaboration skills and are independent, proactive, goal-oriented, and have an approach that is adaptable to the situation. A positive attitude is a prerequisite. You have an interest in developing new working methods and sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You have a professional approach to children, guardians, and colleagues and can easily create good relationships. We place great importance on personal suitability.
