Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will support the individual at home, based on the user's needs and wishes. The tasks include practical chores, personal care, medical interventions, leisure activities, and social contacts. You will be the support that the user needs to participate in all activities as much as possible and help ensure that the user has a good living situation.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have completed education from the nursing program, child and leisure program, or a 1-year personal assistant training, but we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Applicants with other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent may be considered for employment. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. The work should be characterized by a pedagogical approach to support the user in maintaining their skills as much as possible. It is important that you feel secure in your professional role and can act professionally. We also see that you are social, attentive, and proactive in activities with the user.

Since the work requires documentation, it is desirable that you have good computer skills. We also prefer that you have a B driver's license and access to a car.

More about the positions

Permanent positions scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Employment levels of 89% and 93%. Start date according to agreement.

Full-time employment may be offered. You will primarily work in this case but may need to work in other cases/activities where there is a need. This requires that you can travel with your own car to the workplace you will temporarily work at. Travel compensation is provided according to the agreement for work-related travel.

The user is a man living in Central Piteå, he has a partner who also has personal assistance. He needs help with his daily living. He enjoys music and being outdoors. Double staffing.

The position has an employment level of 93%. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Case 2

The user is a man living in Öjebyn. He needs support and help with everything in his daily living. He attends a daily activity program 4 days a week, and besides his job, he enjoys going for a drive, reading the newspaper, and watching TV.

You will drive the user's car, so it is a requirement that you have a driver's license (manual).

The position has an employment level of 89%. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Case 3

The user is a middle-aged man in Öjebyn. He needs support and help with everything in his daily living as well as motivation for an active everyday life. You need to approach your work with a low-affect response. Double staffing.
