Arvidsjaur's popular and well-renowned high school - Sandbackaskolan - is now seeking a substitute teacher for the IM/ANP program during the spring term of 2025.

The school is growing in student numbers and ranks among the top in the country regarding graduation rates. Our success factors are security and well-being combined with high academic ambitions. We support and educate about 300 students distributed across the programs FX, FT, BF, NA, SA, EK, IM/ANP, as well as adult education and SFI. Approximately half of our students come from other municipalities, and we have national intake for FX and NIU Alpine (who choose between the theoretical programs).

At Sandbackaskolan, a trust-based leadership is applied to a very high degree, and our good work environment is reflected in the annual nationwide HME survey (which measures staff engagement and satisfaction with the work situation and management) where the total index for the school is high compared to the country as a whole.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position mainly involves teaching and resource time in the introductory program (IM) and Adapted layout (for students studying towards an adapted curriculum), as well as other usual tasks for teachers.

We are looking for someone who is secure, well-structured, flexible, independent, and unpretentious and shares our goal of contributing to the long-term development and health of the organization and students based on the school's national mission.

You are communicative and inspiring in your work with students and colleagues and are able to build a safe and inclusive classroom climate where all students participate according to their abilities and individual circumstances.
