Vocational Teacher for Warehouse and Terminal Training – Municipal Adult Education

We are looking for an engaged, pedagogical, and skilled vocational teacher for our Warehouse and Terminal Training within municipal adult education. Job Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher in the warehouse and terminal training, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in both theory and practice. The training is conducted in close collaboration with the labor market and is adapted to the different conditions of adult students.

Your responsibilities include:

• Teaching warehouse and terminal work, logistics, forklift driving, and terminal processes
• Integrating work environment, safety, and applicable legislation into the teaching
• Planning, developing, and following course plans according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's regulations
• Assessing and grading students' knowledge and providing continuous feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues, the labor market, and APL placements
• Supporting and motivating adult students in their learning and professional development

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented professional experience in warehouse and/or terminal operations
• Good knowledge of work environment, safety regulations, and industry practices
• Pedagogical education or teaching experience
• The ability to adapt teaching to the needs of adult students

A teaching license with qualifications in vocational subjects is advantageous, but relevant professional experience and pedagogy may be sufficient according to the Education Act for employment in adult education.

Meritorious

• Experience in teaching within municipal adult education
• Forklift license and other relevant certifications
• Experience with APL (workplace-based learning) and collaboration with employers
• Training as a forklift instructor or similar

Personal Qualities

You enjoy working in a group. You are confident in your professional role, structured, and have good pedagogical skills. You easily create good relationships and motivate adult students with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
