Job Description

The role combines practical design work with overall responsibility – you lead the team and contribute with technical solutions. As a Design Manager, you will be an important part of the company's continued development. You will work closely with our salespeople, project engineers, and production/assembly. Your responsibilities include:

• leading and coaching designers in their design work
• project managing parts of customer and development projects
• reviewing designs
• being involved in the company's governance in a prominent role
• designing and developing your own design solutions
• being responsible for product development

The position involves only occasional travel, primarily to customers or partners.

Qualifications/Personal Characteristics

You are a university/civil engineer or equivalent with a focus on mechanical design. You have many years of experience as a designer/design manager.

As a person, you are:

• creative and solution-oriented
• confident in your leadership and have good communication skills
• meticulous, structured, and responsible
• used to working methodically towards clear goals

We work in the business system Pyramid and in the CAD program Inventor. Experience with these or similar systems is an advantage. If you are a responsive person with a lovely personality and are looking to join a growing smaller company with a big heart, this is the position for you!
