About the Role
The Electrical Analysis group represents Ringhals' expertise in electrical power analysis and is responsible for the design of the facility's electrical power system.
The group's main task is to perform various types of static and dynamic calculations, as well as manage and develop analysis tools and simulation models for this purpose. Examples of tasks within the group include interaction between the grid and power plants, relay protection coordination, and calculations/simulations of the internal local power network of nuclear power blocks with components such as generators, transformers, large motors, power electronics, etc.
The summer job will provide you with personal development and valuable experience for your future career. Additionally, you will gain insight into what it is like to work at a large company like Vattenfall. You will utilize your theoretical knowledge to solve highly relevant technical problems in the field of electrical power.
Requirements
We are looking for someone studying electrical power at the college or university level who has completed a few years of their education. Below are the requirements and desirable qualifications relevant to the role.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Studies in electrical power at the college or university level with several years of completed studies and acquired relevant knowledge in the electrical power field.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Ability to work analytically, independently, and drive work forward.
Desirable:
- Master's level studies in electrical power.
- Advanced courses or specialization in electrical power or related technology areas.
