We are looking for a Technician/Designer focused on maintenance and development of production equipment, quality documentation, 3D production, and mechanics who appreciates order, clear working methods, and solid craftsmanship.
The position is at Swedlock's headquarters in Halmstad and is a permanent full-time employment. You will belong to and be part of the technology and development unit and function as support to the production department.
Swedlock develops, manufactures, sells, operates, and installs digital locking systems for critical customers in Scandinavia. The systems should be characterized by user-friendliness. The company's products should contribute to effective and reliable public service and be characterized by high technical quality and sustainability throughout the product life cycle.
About the role The position as Technician/Designer is a central part of both production and development, where you contribute to ensuring that our products maintain high and consistent quality over time. You enjoy working methodically, learning new things, and taking responsibility for getting things done correctly from the start.
You collaborate with other parts of the organization and have the opportunity to be involved and influence the development of our locking products.
Your main tasks Documentation and routines
· Establish, manage, and improve all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
· Ensure that routines are followed and updated.
· 3D production
· Drive and monitor our 3D printer production.
· Be responsible for maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of 3D printers.
· Plan and execute prints as needed.
· Design and manufacturing
· Create smaller mechanical designs and accessories for our locking systems.
· Develop production aids.
· Perform conversion work of drawings and CAD materials
· Work independently in Solid Works, where good knowledge is a requirement
· Mechanical testing
· Conduct mechanical tests of components, especially the more complex or critical ones.
· Document results according to applicable requirements.
· Support in production
· Perform ongoing maintenance in production.
· Provide technical support during assembly and production processes.
· Perform quality-enhancing work related to the inspection of incoming materials.
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have the following experiences and qualifications
· Good knowledge of Solid Works, experience with Solid Works PDM is an advantage.
· Basic knowledge of mechanics and design.
· Experience in 3D printing is a merit.
· Good ability to read and handle drawings and CAD files.
· Structured and meticulous working method.
· High school engineering degree, suitable orientation, or equivalent experience in the field.
· A university engineering degree, suitable orientation, or equivalent competence through experience is advantageous.
