We are currently looking for a Service and Workshop Mechanic for Cold Cut Systems at StudentConsulting. Cold Cut Systems was founded in 1989 and is a world leader in fire fighting through cutting extinguishing. Reduced water usage, less water damage after extinguishing, and a safer working environment for firefighters are some of the positive effects of the "coldcut cobra" extinguishing system. Today, there are 150 systems in Sweden, of which 120 are with the Swedish rescue service. Please read more at www.coldcutsystems.com
As a Service and Workshop Mechanic, you will play an important role in Cold Cut Systems' continued development! In this role, you will be responsible for service, troubleshooting, and repair of Cold Cut Systems products. You will be involved in improvement work regarding the production and development process and ensure that all work is carried out and documented responsibly according to applicable routines. Furthermore, you will conduct service training and commissioning, tailored to market needs. You will be based at Cold Cut Systems' operations in Kungsbacka and work both inside the workshop and out with customers.
Your main tasks will include:
- Performing service on units at customer sites as well as in the operations
- Ensuring that products are packed and delivered according to specifications
- Being responsible for technical training and support
- Preparing quotes and creating invoicing documentation after completed work
- Being responsible for urgent troubleshooting and remedial/preventive actions at customer sites
- Handling urgent troubleshooting and any complaints
- Reporting deviations and documentation regarding products
- Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries
This is a consulting assignment which means you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for Cold Cut Systems. The position is planned to start immediately or by agreement and will last for at least 6 months, with a great chance of extension. The position is full-time and the work is scheduled during office hours.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Have a high school education in a technical field such as mechanics, hydraulics, and/or automotive electrical (12v/24v) or equivalent experience
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Have a B driver's license
Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, or automotive electrical is an advantage
