Do you want to be the driving force in Gnotec's production technology development and lead a key function that impacts quality, delivery, and cost every day? We are looking for a Production Technology Manager who combines strategic insight with operational presence and who wants to drive our ongoing technology and improvement journey in stamping, welding, and assembly.

About the role

As the Production Technology Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our production technology department, including NPI/industrialization, with personnel, work environment, and budget responsibilities. You will lead a team of approximately seven direct reports (project managers, production engineers, and a senior tool technician) and work closely with production, maintenance, logistics, and finance, as well as the Group/Tool Development in Sweden and Germany. The role is part of the management team and reports to the General Manager.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the production technology department.
  • Ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective flows.
  • Drive NPI projects from customer development to industrialization.
  • Standardize and document processes and improvements.
  • Be responsible for the CAPEX portfolio (~18 MSEK/year) and lead major investments.
  • Drive automation/logistics initiatives including AGV.
  • Be active in the management team with technical and financial support.
  • Manage fast-moving customer flows and increase planability.

Who are you?

  • Engineering degree or equivalent (at least 5 years of experience).
  • Experience in production technology and NPI/industrialization.
  • Knowledge in stamping technology and/or welding technology.
  • Experience in Lean, standardization, and improvement work.
  • Fluent in Swedish/English, good system knowledge (preferably Jeeves).

Personally, you drive structure, analysis, and clear communication. You lead through presence, clarity, and the ability to create trust and involvement.

We offer

  • A strategically important role in a global group.
  • The opportunity to influence investments, working methods, and technological leaps.
  • A development-oriented culture with a high pace and great engagement.
