About the Role

Do you want to work in a socially important business and simultaneously contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

Now you have the opportunity to take a strategically decisive role at Ringhals and lead our long-term work to plan, prioritize, and steer the development of our production facilities.

As Unit Manager Project Portfolio Management, you will be at the core of our operations – where investments, long-term production planning, and facility development meet. Here you will have significant influence over decisions and priorities that shape Ringhals' future production capacity and our contribution to the fossil-free transition.

About the Position

As Unit Manager Project Portfolio Management, you have overall responsibility for translating Ringhals' strategies for production and facility management into long-term plans and structures that secure the facility's development over time. You are responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing the portfolio of investments and major maintenance measures, ensuring that it is balanced, well-prioritized, and aligned with both short-term and long-term goals.

The role entails a clear strategic responsibility. You lead the work with long-term production planning for Ringhals 3 and 4 and ensure that the central plans – such as the long-term facility plan, facility development portfolio, and the long-term production plan (K4) – are current, relevant, and evolve in line with the needs of the business. You drive the development of methods, ways of working, and tools within project portfolio management and create conditions for managers and employees to make well-informed decisions.

As Unit Manager Project Portfolio Management, you work closely with the operations and act as a strategic sounding board on facility and production issues. You ensure good governance of the portfolio, follow up on relevant goals and indicators, and produce analyses that provide strong decision support. You actively contribute to the department's business plan and budget and ensure that measures are implemented as planned.

You operate in an environment with many contact points and collaborate closely with various parts of Ringhals and Vattenfall. The role involves both internal and external representations, and you build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders – from technical functions and the operations organization to suppliers, corporate functions, and international collaboration forums.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, we see that you need the following qualifications:

• Academic degree in a relevant field

• Previous management or leadership experience

• Experience from nuclear power or other process industries

• Good knowledge of facilities and understanding of technical systems

• Ability to operate through others and function as a technical and strategic sounding board

• General knowledge of SSM's regulations

• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and confident leader with the ability to see the big picture and drive development in a complex organization. You are structured, communicative, and accustomed to collaborating broadly. You are motivated by creating clear plans, strong decision support, and stable work processes that contribute to Ringhals' long-term production capacity.

Contacts and Collaboration

In the role, you have extensive contacts internally within Ringhals and with other parts of Vattenfall. You collaborate closely with the operations organization, technical functions, project organization, and other support functions. External contacts also occur in collaboration with suppliers, industry forums, and organizations – both nationally and internationally. The role requires good relationship skills, willingness to collaborate, and a communicative ability to build trust at all levels.
