The Role

As an automation engineer, you will play a central role in driving societal development forward. You will participate in high-tech projects in Energy, Industry/Product Development, and Process – and work from idea to finished solution.

You will work with:

  • PLC programming and control of machines, products, and systems
  • System design and dimensioning of control systems
  • Selection of components: sensors, motors, drives, panels, etc.
  • Development of HMI and user interfaces
  • Feasibility studies, analyses, and technical investigations
  • Technical support to customers and production
  • Ensuring that projects comply with norms, standards, and customer requirements
  • Participation in FAT/SAT and commissioning
  • Conducting risk and safety analyses

Here you will have the opportunity to work with both new development and modernization of products and machines, often all the way from concept to commissioning.



Your Background
  • University degree in automation
  • At least 3 years of experience in PLC programming and system design
  • Experience with control systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Beijer, Beckhoff, Omron, etc.
  • Experience in production-related environments
  • Meritorious: commissioning, electrical design, and automation in energy (hydropower, wind, nuclear, solar)

Languages: Swedish & English – fluent in spoken and written


Location: Halmstad
