Project Manager in Air Defense Area

We are now looking for a project manager who wants to drive the development in the air defense area forward. Do you want to work with technical projects that contribute to strengthening Sweden's defense capability? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

About the Position

As a project manager, you will work on projects within the air defense area, with a particular focus on air defense software. You are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on parts of the project and ensuring that the work progresses according to the schedule, budget, and set goals.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues within the organization, suppliers, and the Armed Forces. You will lead and participate in project meetings, coordinate project activities, and follow up on progress. The work also involves ensuring that the project is updated in our support systems and reporting status to higher project management or supervisors.

You may also conduct supplementary procurements and orders and contribute to developing work methods and processes within the organization. The role involves working through the entire project chain – from needs and analysis to delivery and follow-up.

The position is located in Halmstad. Travel is a natural part of the job.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a civil engineer, engineering graduate, computer scientist, or has equivalent qualifications acquired in another way that we consider equivalent. You have several years of experience working in technical projects and a couple of years of project management experience. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. You have a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have experience in software development. If you have knowledge of public procurement, air defense systems, air defense command software, or software lifecycle management, we see this as a benefit. Experience in agile project management is also advantageous.

As a person, you are structured, self-driven, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You act professionally and responsibly and have the ability to maintain focus over time, drive tasks forward, and plan and organize work effectively.
