ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking an electrical designer on behalf of our client, where the tasks include the design and further development of robust systems for military applications. Here you will be part of a larger team of 32 designers. Function and ensuring installation is of utmost importance, which means you will also work cross-functionally with other departments in exciting and complex projects. In the role of electrical designer, your primary area of responsibility will include the detailed design of cable dimensions.

Main tasks:

• Develop electrical schematics and connection diagrams.
• Dimension cables, components, and protection.
• Work with power, control, and signal systems.
• Ensure EMC requirements and robustness in demanding environments.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a vocational or engineering degree in electronics design, automation, electrical engineering, or similar.
• Has 1-3 years of work experience in electrical design.
• Has experience with CAD tools, preferably AutoCAD.
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

We consider it an advantage if you:

• Can produce circuit diagrams, connection tables, cable and connector lists, and parts lists.
• Have EMC-compliant design according to MIL-STD-461.
• Have cable dimensioning experience.
• Have a military background or have completed military service.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
