About the role – Service Manager in Warehouse Automation At Apotea, a lot is happening. Really a lot. High volumes, fast pace, and high ambitions – and our logistics are the heart of the business. We are now looking for a Service Manager who wants to lead and develop our service team, ensure high availability in our technical environment, and ensure stable and efficient operations.

Apotea Varberg is a fully automated warehouse with advanced warehouse automation, where availability, quick problem-solving, and continuous improvements are crucial for the business. As a Service Manager, you have overall responsibility for leading, prioritizing, and developing the daily service and maintenance work together with the team.

This is a role for you who want to combine leadership with a clear operational responsibility. You are a present leader who creates structure and helps the team succeed while also working practically in the business. A large part of the role involves being out in the operations and supporting troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement work.

The team currently consists of 6 technicians and works day, evening, and weekend shifts. You lead the team in daily operations and ensure that work functions efficiently during all working hours, focusing on safety, quality, collaboration, and accountability.

In this role, you work closely with our automation facility and our technical processes, with a particular focus on operational reliability, optimization, and improvement of automation flows. You play an important role in collaborating with other parts of the business and with our automation supplier SSI Schäfer.

This is not a role for you who want to lead from a distance. We are looking for someone who thrives close to the operations, enjoys solving problems in real-time, and wants to be where the action is – together with the team.

Your main responsibilities ● Lead, coach, and develop the service team in daily work ● Be a present leader in the operations and create clarity in working methods, distribution of responsibilities, and priorities ● Work operationally as part of the team with troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement work in our automation facility ● Ensure effective, structured, and preventive service and maintenance work ● Prioritize efforts and resources based on the business's needs, operational disruptions, and long-term improvement goals ● Drive improvement initiatives for increased operational reliability, efficiency, and quality in warehouse and automation processes ● Work on optimization and further development of automation processes in close collaboration with the business and external parties ● Follow up on key figures, deviations, and improvement measures and translate analysis into concrete results ● Collaborate with other functions in the business to quickly solve problems and prevent recurring disruptions ● Maintain close dialogue with external suppliers, including SSI Schäfer, on technical issues and development initiatives

To succeed in this role, we believe you have ● Experience leading teams in service, maintenance, technology, or industrial operations ● Experience working operationally in a technical environment, preferably close to production, logistics, or automation ● Experience in warehouse automation and automated flows ● Experience working with optimization and automation processes in production, industry, or logistics ● Good technical understanding and experience troubleshooting both mechanical and electronic systems ● Ability to support technical assessments and make the right decisions in daily operations ● Experience working in a fast-paced environment with many dependencies and high demands for availability ● Ability to create structure, prioritize correctly, and make decisions even when the pace is high ● Experience driving improvement work and developing working methods, processes, and teams ● Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various functions in the business ● Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
