Lagab AB is located in the Nyby industrial area in Laholm and manufactures and assembles customized truck bodies. Lagab is part of the SKAB Group, which also includes Specialkarosser in Ätran, Groth Kaross and ABC-karosser in Mönsterås, as well as SKAB Norge AS in Oslo. In total, we are around 300 people in the SKAB Group.

As a designer with us, you will have a central and business-close role. You will work with the design and product development of customized bodies and be involved throughout the entire process – from requirements specification and technical solutions to production, assembly, and customer communication.

The role involves a lot of collaboration with sales, which makes business understanding and a holistic perspective just as important as technical competence.

Your tasks

• Design and development of customized truck bodies
• Develop technical solutions based on customer needs and business conditions
• Support production with design documentation

We are looking for someone who

• Has a technical education or equivalent experience in design/mechanics
• Has knowledge and experience in design, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or production industry
• Is business-oriented, solution-oriented, and enjoys dialogue with customers
• Is innovative, has an inner drive, appreciates order and structure, and wants to provide our customers with really good products together with your colleagues
• Has a positive attitude, a big heart, and is a fantastic team player while also performing well individually
