Tylö is looking for an SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) who wants to help shape the sauna experiences of the future!

Do you want to work closely with suppliers and production to ensure high quality and robust processes in an international supply chain? We are now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer who wants to help develop and secure the quality in our outsourcing and supplier structure.

In this role, you will have a key position in ensuring stable, cost-effective, and scalable production solutions together with our suppliers.

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring suppliers' quality work and quality assurance in outsourced production. The role involves minimizing quality risks in the supply chain, ensuring that suppliers meet our requirements, and driving improvement work together with both internal and external parties.

You will work closely with purchasing, production, development, and suppliers and play a central role in ensuring quality throughout the value chain.

Examples of tasks

• Ensure that suppliers work according to agreed quality standards
• Manage and follow up deviations including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Conduct supplier audits and process evaluations
• Qualify and approve new suppliers
• Project manage outsourcing and industrialization projects to ensure robust processes
• Follow up and analyze suppliers' quality key figures (e.g. PPM, complaints, and audit results)
• Ensure quality during production transfers and introduction of new products
• Drive improvement initiatives within the supply chain

Qualifications (requirements)

You need to have

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical background
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and experience working in a manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Good knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Experience (requirements)

• At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality, production, or quality work
• Documented experience in quality work and improvement work in the supplier chain

Language (requirements)

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position is located in Halmstad where our production site is located. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager. The role is primarily on-site, but some remote work may occur if needed, for example during analysis or documentation.
