About the Job

In the role of Technical Manager at Regionfastigheter, you will be responsible for the implementation of maintenance and operational projects from needs analysis to execution and finally handover to the relevant operations.

You will be responsible for projects in all external leases, where Region Halland is not the property owner, and also in the internally owned properties within your area. In the internally owned properties, you will also lead, distribute, and develop the work with the operation of our internal businesses by following up on the important operational agreement with an internal supplier.

Your tasks include:

establishing and following up on maintenance plans
driving investigations and various types of projects, where you also have an energy and environmental perspective
being involved in ongoing procurements and agreements with suppliers
being responsible for the financial follow-up of the project and being involved in the work with goals and budget where your responsibility is to develop upcoming investments with the maintenance plans as support

An important part will be to assess, from your holistic perspective, which efforts will provide the greatest benefit in achieving our business goals.

You will work closely with the property team you are part of, contributing your expertise in operation and maintenance to help the team achieve its goals and deliveries.

Regionfastigheter is facing significant changes due to the political decision regarding a new hospital structure, local supply in Halland, and work is ongoing to document our processes and routines. Our goal is to combine the line organization with a process-oriented organization.

About the Workplace

You will work at Regionfastigheter, a part of the Region Office's finance department. We are primarily responsible for management, construction, and rental issues. This means that we actively support the region's operations with functional, purposeful sustainable premises and adapted infrastructure.

Regionfastigheter consists of three departments: Construction and Projects, Management, and Systems and Technology. You will be part of the Management department. Currently, the department has four technical managers, and we want to strengthen the organization with an additional technical manager with a focus on Varberg and Kungsbacka.

Other competencies at Regionfastigheter include managers, construction project leaders, information managers, and engineers such as HVAC engineers, electrical engineers, fire engineers, etc.

Our operations can also be expressed in properties and square meters; we manage, among other things, health centers, hospitals, schools, dental and psychiatric clinics. A total of about 440,000 square meters plus over 90 leased contracts throughout Halland.

There is an opportunity for remote work, but the work is preferably conducted on-site in direct contact with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have documented professional experience in the operation and maintenance of properties or equivalent, as well as experience in driving various forms of property projects.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in a politically governed organization, experience with procurement procedures, and a process-oriented working method.

As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, communicative, calm, and have good collaboration skills. You are used to handling many tasks simultaneously. To ensure good and safe communication, we require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
