Your Role

Weapon Services is part of Saab Dynamics and focuses on delivering advanced weapon solutions and services to our customers. We work on developing, integrating, and maintaining weapons and related systems to meet the latest security and defense needs.

In this role, you will have technical responsibility in one or more projects and be responsible for ensuring that the systems can be used safely. You will be part of a team consisting of 5 qualified employees who continuously conduct system safety assessments of technical new production and technical modifications. Those who are part of the team today believe that the best part of the team and the job is the customer dialogue and the knowledge that the system safety work actually leads to safe work processes and safe working environments.

You and the team will be involved throughout the entire system lifecycle. You will work with requirements management, documentation, testing, and validation of systems to ensure safe handling for our customers and accident prevention. This will give you the opportunity for some travel within Sweden.

In our job, it is important to build long-term trust with our customers. For you and your colleagues, this means close contact with customers, end-users, software developers, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

For this role, we prefer that you have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field. We also appreciate if you have experience and a strong interest in technical and complex software systems.

It is a great advantage if you enjoy planning and are used to prioritizing effectively. This is because you and the team will work on one or more customer projects with different deadlines. Sometimes things may not go as planned, and it is important that you can quickly adapt to changing conditions.

We believe that you are motivated by continuous learning and have a knack for finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges. In this role, it is important to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of the Armed Forces, for example, through military service or other military training.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, if applicable, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
