We are now looking for a production worker for a seasonal full-time position (April-July) at Fönstermiljö in Laholm.

Fönstermiljö in Laholm is a family-owned company that manufactures customized sun protection products on order from retailers across Sweden. We produce everything from large terrace awnings to window awnings and vertical awnings for homes, businesses, and public enterprises.

No awning is mass-produced – each order is unique. Our competitiveness is based on high quality, customized solutions, and fast deliveries. This is possible thanks to efficient production, good collaboration, and solid experience.

We have about 10 permanent employees and strengthen the organization with several people during the peak season. Many of our employees have worked with us for many years, creating stability and a strong team spirit.

The company is in constant development and has recently expanded significantly on Industrigatan in Laholm. The ambition now is to strengthen the organization with one to two additional people in production to keep up with the high order intake until the end of summer.

Job Responsibilities

The main job responsibilities include sewing awnings according to written instructions for each order. The sewing department is often the first stop for an order. Here, the fabric for, e.g., a folding arm awning or a windbreak is produced. The combination of craftsmanship and our modern machinery ensures that the fabrics leaving the department are of top quality. In the next step, colleagues in assembly will complete the awnings and package them for delivery to our customers.

As a new employee, you will work with experienced colleagues who will provide all training and introduction.

Working hours are Monday-Thursday 06:45-16:00 and Fridays 06:45-13:15. The workplace is at Industrigatan 23.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Is meticulous and quality-conscious
• Enjoys practical work in a structured environment
• Has a good work ethic and is reliable
• Can work in a periodically high tempo
• Is easy to collaborate with in small workgroups

You do not need any previous experience in sewing – we will teach you. The most important thing is that you are positive, responsible, and willing to learn.

Employment

You will be employed full-time directly by Fönstermiljö (not Local Bemanning). The position is a fixed-term employment starting at the end of March or the beginning of April, lasting until week 29 (mid-July). Therefore, please indicate when applying how you feel about working during this time period.
