Focus Area: Electrical & Automation
Do you have an interest in electrical engineering and automation? Perfect – we have several exciting opportunities for you!
In this area, we offer positions where you will work closely with technology, often in project form alongside knowledgeable colleagues. Common to both our electrical designers and automation engineers is that they contribute to developing, improving, and future-proofing our facilities.
Electrical Designer (4 positions)
As an electrical designer at Ringhals, you will work on developing technical solutions – from idea to finished construction. You are an important part of our project teams and contribute your expertise in everything from new installations to upgrades and improvements of existing facility components.
The work involves documentation, drawings, component selection, and technical analyses. You will have the opportunity to work with both low and high voltage systems, and you will help ensure that our solutions meet high standards of safety and reliability.
You likely have a university degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field. However, your interest in technology and your willingness to learn are the most important factors. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
To thrive as an electrical designer with us, you need to be detail-oriented, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating. You will work closely with both colleagues and the facility, and you will have excellent opportunities to develop in an area where your contributions truly make a difference.
Automation Engineer (1 position)
As an automation engineer at Ringhals, you will work on designing, constructing, and configuring our control systems – primarily from ABB and Siemens. We handle most of the changes ourselves, allowing you to truly put your stamp on the solutions.
You likely have a university degree in automation, mechatronics, electrical design, or another relevant field. However, what matters most to us is your engagement and curiosity about technology and control systems. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
To thrive in the role, you need to enjoy being close to technology and have a practical mindset. We have well-equipped lab environments where we build our own test rigs to test and develop our solutions – a perfect way to combine theory with practice.
