About the Role

About the Position

Do you have a burning interest in technology/process and want an important position at the heart of Ringhals production? Then apply for a summer job with us as a Process Operator.

We are responsible for the operational management and supervision of Ringhals facilities, and together we ensure that electricity production operates optimally. You will work according to a rotating shift schedule where the shifts are evenly distributed between morning, afternoon, and night. During a shift period, you will work both weekdays and weekends, and the period ends with a longer break. You will participate in, among other activities:

  • Process monitoring from the local control room
  • Conducting rounds in the facility
  • Performing periodic tests of turbine and reactor systems
  • Restoring system components
  • Monitoring process functions

We offer you a unique opportunity to gain insight into how operational activities work at a nuclear power plant. It is also an excellent chance for you to showcase your skills for future recruitment at Ringhals.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and currently studying technology or natural sciences in high school or at a university with a technical focus, preferably in process, mechatronics, or operational technology. You must be able to express yourself easily in spoken and written Swedish. Due to the shift work, a driver's license is required.

To thrive in the role, we believe you have a burning interest in technology/process. Since you will work closely with different professions in your shift team, it is important that you can build good relationships and be service-oriented. You take initiative, are meticulous, and quality-conscious. Even in stressful situations, you can remain calm and focus on what needs to be done.
