Product Specialist for Aluminium Center in Halmstad

As a Product Specialist, you will work at the intersection of materials, business, and production, with the opportunity to influence how a modern aluminium center operates. About the Role

As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role in the organization, working closely with both production and business. You will be responsible for ensuring the right material quality, contributing to efficient flows, and supporting business decisions. In this role, you will be a specialist in the aluminium area and a natural sounding board for both colleagues and managers on-site. Here, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in practice and make a real difference by developing workflows, optimizing flows, and strengthening the business in daily operations.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Assist the recipient in classifying and assessing incoming materials, with a particular focus on aluminium.
• Work closely with suppliers and customers to develop and optimize materials throughout the value chain.
• Ensure the quality of outgoing materials based on customer requirements and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to optimize existing material and production flows.
• Identify business opportunities for new and existing materials, qualities, or workflows.
• Contribute to the development of structures, routines, and workflows within the product area.
• Act as a specialist support within the aluminium area and provide knowledge and advice to colleagues and managers on-site.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• At least 3 years of experience in sales or purchasing of metal scrap.
• Good knowledge of Office 365.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience in sales or purchasing of aluminium.
• Experience working with aluminium at a smelter or similar operations.
• Post-secondary education.
• Experience with business or production systems.
